The American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics and Pedorthics Inc. (ABC) announced that applications are being accepted for the 2011 Larry Lange Travel Fellowship Award, established in memory of Larry Lange, CPO, FAAOP. ABC continues to support National Commission on Orthotic and Prosthetic Education’s (NCOPE) efforts in awarding this important tribute to Lange’s legacy.
Lange dedicated more than 27 years to the O&P profession and to the patients he served. He volunteered for ABC through his 22 years as an examiner for the clinical patient management exams as well as serving on several ABC committees.
This award recognizes the outstanding practice/education of a current or recent graduate of an NCOPE orthotic/prosthetic residency program and provides an individual an opportunity to further enrich their education and development at the beginning of their O&P career.
Applications for the 2011 award are due to NCOPE by June 1, 2011.
