The Orthotic and Prosthetic Education and Research Foundation (OPERF) announced that nominations are open for the second Tamarack Prize for Outstanding Contributions to Orthotic Science and Practice.
The Tamarack Prize will be awarded at the American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists 37th Annual Meeting and Scientific Symposium in Orlando, Fla., March 16-19, 2011.
The OPERF is seeking nominations of individuals who have made a significant contribution to the practice and understanding of orthotic science within the last 5 years. Ideal candidates are those who have a history of clinical care, scientific research, and peer-reviewed publications in the orthotic profession and/or industry. Self nominations are encouraged. Nominations are accepted through Jan. 14, 2011.
