K5 PROSTHETICS, a division of Michigan Orthopedic Services, recently added to their clinical team.
The team now includes Ohio licensed prosthetist Barry Minor, CP. Minor is an undergraduate of West Virginia University and completed his prosthetic training and clinical education at UCLA.
Additionally, the 2009 Association of Children’s Prosthetic-Orthotic Clinics New Investigator Research Award winner Rebecca Spragg, CO and prosthetic resident, also recently joined the K5 PROSTHETICS team. Spragg completed her undergraduate degree in biomedical engineering at Case Western Reserve University. She received her master’s degree in orthotics and prosthetics from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
Jaclyn Burkeen, orthotist/prosthetist and founder of AmputeeBasketball.com also joined the group. Burkeen completed her undergraduate degree in exercise and sports management at Spring Arbor University. She earned a master’s degree in orthotics and prosthetics from Eastern Michigan University.
“These clinical additions to the K5 Prosthetic team exemplify the fundamental difference that K5 PROSTHETICS offers amputees. Those being our technical expertise through both experience and technical research, as well as events for the amputee community,” Ken Hall, vice president of prosthetics, stated in a press release.
