Extremity Games has teamed up with Ronnie Dickson to host an adaptive rock climbing clinic on April 9, 2011 at Joshua Tree National Park in Joshua Tree, Calif. This full-day clinic will introduce people with disabilities to outdoor climbing through top-rope climbing style and is focused on athletes with leg or arm amputations. Anyone living with limb loss or limb difference is welcome to attend. Clinics will consist of instruction for beginner to intermediate climbers.
Two American Mountain Guides Association-certified guides, as well as elite rock climbing athlete and transfemoral amputee Ronnie Dickson, will be on-hand providing instruction.
