The Amputee Coalition of America (ACA) announced Ossur as a national gold sponsor for 2010. The gold sponsorship is a $30,000 contribution.
“The Amputee Coalition of America is honored to welcome such a prestigious company as Ossur to our national gold sponsorship level, and we thank them for the impact their contribution will make this year,” Kendra Calhoun, ACA’s president and chief executive officer stated in a press release. “I can speak for our board, staff and national membership who recognize the contributions Ossur has made in the limb loss community. We value this relationship, and we look forward to Ossur’s partnership.”
In the press release Ossur Americas president, Mahesh Mansukhani stated that Ossur is proud to be an ACA gold sponsor.
“ACA provides unsurpassed education and support to individuals with limb loss and their family members, while simultaneously tackling the difficult but critically important issue of limb loss prevention,” Mansukhani stated. “Equally important, ACA has driven significant legislative change with its prosthetic parity campaign at both the state and federal levels. Through these efforts, ACA has increased people’s access to appropriate prosthetic care, which is consistent with Ossur’s goal of promoting life without limitations for people with limb loss.”
