Physiotherapy Associates and LifeBridge Health Sports Medicine announced they have formed a partnership to form a Baltimore-area outpatient physical therapy service company. LifeBridge Sports Medicine & Rehabilitation powered by Physiotherapy Associates provides sports medicine services and rehabilitation for athletes, orthopedic outpatients and chronic pain patients.
Initially, the company will have five clinic locations: Eldersburg. Md., Owings Mills, Md., Towson, Md., Timonium, Md., and one clinic inside LifeBridge Health & Fitness in Pikesville, Md.. The partnership will provide outpatient physical therapy to patients in non-hospital settings. Patients will have access to expert care in sports medicine and performance, back and neck care, orthopedic physical therapy, post-operative rehabilitation, aquatic physical therapy, neurological rehabilitation, work injury rehabilitation, as well as many other specialty services.
“This new company will fill a need for Baltimore athletes and other patients with general physical therapy needs, while continuing to build on the long tradition these two groups have in treating local patients,” David Gray, physical therapist, senior group director Physiotherapy Associates, stated in a press release.
