Team Canada won the 2010 International Standing Ice Hockey Federation
(ISIHF) World Championships, held April 27 to May 2 in Montreal, Canada.
The Canadian team, which has won four previous World Championship
titles, swept this year’s competition, and secured first place after
beating Finland 11-2 in the ISIHF’s gold medal game.
Team USA defeated Latvia to take the bronze medal in the competition.
New this year was a World Team, composed of players from ISIHF National
Member Associations and from countries unable to send a full team.
