The American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics and
Pedorthics Inc. (ABC) is conducting a Practice Analysis Survey of orthotic
fitters. The participation of all ABC-certified orthotic fitters is critical.
The survey results will help define the certification, education and training
of future fitters. It will help in the development of valid and reliable
examinations and to convey to others outside the discipline, the scope of
services provided by O&P professionals.
The survey will be emailed in the next few months. ABC encourages all of
its certified orthotic fitters to participate. If ABC does not have your
current e-mail address, please send it as soon as possible to info@abcop.org.
