Touch Bionics announced the hiring of Davie Mendelsohn as the company’s national sales director. Mendelsohn brings with her extensive experience in the prosthetics field, having most recently held the position of regional vice president of sales and operations with Otto Bock HealthCare, where she worked for more than a decade. Her deep sales experience, coupled with front-line patient care experience as a registered nurse, uniquely positions her to recognize the needs of prospective patients, partners and customers of Touch Bionics.
“I’m thrilled to be joining Touch Bionics in this role as it’s clear that the company is at the forefront of both technology and patient care,” Mendelsohn said in a news release. “Its exciting products and ambitious team make the company a highly respected organization in the industry and I am looking forward to being a member of this team.”
Mendelsohn will be based out of Hilliard, Ohio, where Touch Bionics has its U.S. headquarters. She will oversee the activities of the company’s salespeople across the U.S.
