CHICAGO – Because OPAF wishes to continue to provide physical fitness opportunities to O&P patients, the fund’s organizers invite Academy attendees to its First Bid here on Thursday.
The Orthotic and Prosthetic Assistance Fund (OPAF) First Bid will take place in conjunction with the American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists Annual Meeting.
On Thursday from 6 pm to 7:30 pm, attendees are invited to bid on both live and silent auction items and eat traditional Chicago cuisine, Robin Burton, OPAF executive director told O&P Business News.
Auction items include: full registration and three-night hotel accommodations for the American Orthotic and Prosthetic Association 2010 Meeting this fall; New York Jets tickets; stays at vacation spots such as Hawaii, Costa Rica and Cancun; and a full-page, four-color advertisement in O&P Business News. Admission tickets are $10.
As a proud sponsor of OPAF and Cocktails for a Cause, O&P Business News invites you to sip on a “Next Gen Tini,” named in honor of the re-launch of the publication of which the hallmark is the next generation of news. OPAF is even buying the first drink for everyone.
