Orthocare Innovations announced the addition of Radu Litiu, PhD as software architect. Litiu, who will be a resident in Orthocare’s Seattle research facility, is a proven information technology professional, with experience in the telecommunications, system software development, e-commerce and online advertising fields.
Most recently, Litiu was a senior software engineer in the Online Services Division at aQuantive/Microsoft. Previously, he held software development positions at both Amazon.com and Microsoft Corporation, as well as at Valaran, a software startup in Princeton, NJ. He was also a visiting research professor at Rutgers University, researching utility-based adaptation in mobile computing applications and game theoretic approaches for building adaptive mobile applications.
“I am excited to be joining Orthocare Innovations to apply my skills towards improving the lives of persons who have lost limbs,” Litiu said in a press release. “Orthocare’s breadth and scope of research and product development initiatives is most impressive and I am eager to make a significant contribution towards the growth and success of the company.”
