According to PrimeCare O&P Network, the annual PrimeFare West Regional Meeting held in February in Salt Lake City was deemed a success by organizers, exhibitors, sponsors and attendees.
“We were delighted with this year’s meeting. With 70% of attendees responding to the meeting surveys, 100% rated the session content and learning value as excellent/above average. I think this speaks to the quality of presenters and suppliers that support PrimeFare Regional meetings, and we appreciate that support and level of excellence,” Cathie Pruitt, chief executive officer of the network, said in a press release.
Attendee responses were also 92% and 97% respectively in the above average/excellent category regarding level of information and appropriateness of topics. Attendance by practitioners was up 60% over 2007’s meeting.
“This year’s new post-mastectomy track was very well received and, based on that, we will be providing a post-mastectomy track at the PrimeFare East Regional meeting,” said Terry Shaw, Network board member.
“I think that PrimeFare West has achieved the momentum now that we expected all along and we are looking forward to continuing this conference on an annual basis,” said Frank Snell, CPO, FAAOP and PrimeCare’s board chairman.
The PrimeFare East Regional meeting will take place May 30 – 31 at the Nashville Convention Center.
