Endolite North America Names New General Manager
Chris Nolan has been named general manager of Endolite North America. Nolan brings to Endolite 10 years of O&P experience in both sales and management. Before joining Endolite, Nolan worked for Johnson & Johnson Orthopedics, Ossur North America, and the Aircast division of DJ Orthopedics. Nolan’s responsibilities will include sales, marketing, customer service and technical education for the United States and Canada.
“We are excited to have Chris on board, his leadership and experience in the industry will enable Endolite North America to reach the next phase of our growth,” Stephen Blatchford, director and chief executive officer of Blatchford, said in a company press release.
Nolan earned a bachelor’s degree in political science and history from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Va.
Remembering J. Harvey Lett

J. Harvey Lett, CO, died on May 8, 2007 at age 93. He was born in 1914 in Shoals, W.Va.
Lett entered the orthotic profession in 1938, during the Great Depression. He started at Jones Orthopedic Hospital in Huntington, W.Va., working for 30 cents per hour. He later worked at Jahnig Manufacturing Company in Huntington, W.Va. and Central Indiana Brace and Limb in Indianapolis, Ind.
Lett was certified in orthotics in 1959 by the American Board of Certification in Orthotics and Prosthetics and devoted 57 years to the profession. He purchased a business in Charleston, W.Va. in 1961 and in 1963 he recruited his son Gerald to help grow the business. In 1972, they established Lett Orthopedic Industries Inc., with offices in Clarksburg, Fairmont and Princeton, W.Va. Harvey retired at age 81.
He is survived by his wife Charlotte, four sons and daughters-in-law, John and Donna, Gary and Georgia, Gerald and Audrey, Jack and Judy, 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
