The Challenged Athletes Foundation’s (CAF) San Diego Triathlon Challenge and Tour de Cove were cancelled due to the wildfires that hit San Diego County in October. The events were not rescheduled. However, CAF officials said that the money raised for the events will allow CAF to fund a record number of grants in 2007 and 2008.
The CAF is making plans for next year’s San Diego Triathlon Challenge, and will make an announcement about the special celebrations to mark the 15th anniversary of the event.
